Smart phones can be a blessing sometimes ! Recently having dinner out with two friends, we got really scared when a table of a dozen or more young girls occupied the table behind us for a birthday party. And the restaurant was fully booked. Halfway through, we noticed it was super quiet ! All of them were on their phones ! Good for us at the time ! But it is troubling how those tools have completely invaded our space. How about having a dinner or a party without a phone, with no pictures or selfies, no pictures of the dishes. That seems incredibly difficult now. Not to mention the impact on our health and spine : hours spent with the head bent down and eyes glued to tiny screen !

Netanyahu didn’t want to be outdone by Trump and a possible deal with Iran, even though to renegotiate, what he has thrown in the bin in his first term, in 60 days while it took two years for the JCPOA, was a big stretch . Netanyahu has been decried to torpedo a possible deal but there is a long list of precedents in the region to ruin negotiations or deals, recently , Hamas’s attack in October 2023.

Netanyuahu attacked, Iran responded with vigour at the beginning but Israel had a well-prepared plan but not the weapons. Trump brought them and in less than 36 hours and a polite-telephoned counterstrike by Iran, we have a ceasefire !
